Push Play Cover Girl Lyrics
November 30, 2008
Cover Girl Lyrics Push Play:
Lately, Im feeling just a little bit shakey
Im looking for a girl who wont talk back
This and that
Leave me in my dust
On bay street
i think i might have found the girl of my dreams.
Shes the kind of girl who always looks great
Never late a girl I can trust
Right now, Im done
Just so you know
Im in love with the girl in the photograph
When I look at her shes looking back at me
Shes the girl in the magazine
Whooao whooaoo
Shes the girl in the magazine
I saw her on the cover of seventeen
With baby blue eyes looking back at me
I wish there was a way she would pop out
Hang out, come to life break free
Im going crazy
Im falling for a paper back lady
Shes the only girl that will fight me spite me
Girl who never leaves
I’m turning the page
Right now, Im done
Just so you know
Im in love with the girl in the photograph
When I look at her shes looking back at me
Shes the girl in the magazine
Whooao whooaoo
Shes the girl in the magazine
Listen now baby
should be your missin out baby
Ive never been so happy
Since the day you left me
She wont leave me out
Lately, Im feeling just a little bit shaky
Im looking for a girl who wont talk back
This and that
Leave me in my dust
Im in love with the girl in the photograph
When I look at her shes looking back at me
Shes the girl in the magazine
Im in love with the girl in the photograph
When I look at her shes looking back at me
Shes the girl in the magazine
Whooao whooaoo
Shes the girl in the magazine

School of Rock Kick off show for Peace.Love.Push Play Tour!
October 6, 2008
Opening for the Push Play boys was Melissa Reyes from “The Search for the Next Doll,” she sang some original songs and some cover songs and did a really good job.
Then Lights Resolve came on and those guys really know how to put on a show! They did amazing!
Standing all the way to the side, close to backstage you hear “quack, quack, quack, quack, goooooo ducks!” and that’s when you know that they’re ready, they’re coming and you in for the most amazing show you will ever witness. The adrenaline and excitement running through your body is the greatest feeling in the world.
There you see Steve, Derek, Nick and CJ run onto the stage and BAM! There they are in front of your face doing what they do best, rocking out, giving it their all, 110%!
As some of you may know who have been to shows before you usually know the show is going to being when you hear the thunder roll, because the boys usually start their show with “Starlight Addiction” but on October 4th 2008, their kick off show for their Peace.Love.Push Play tour which was performed at the School of Rock in Hackensack, NJ, everyone was in for a big surprise.
You hear the screams and so many girls as well as guys thinking they were getting ready to sing a long to “Starlight” and you hear a different tune, a different beat and then we realize it’s a new song off their new cd [which comes out January 17th 2009] “Cover Girl” is what they started their show with. Although the sound system wasn’t working correctly and CJ’s mic wasn’t letting us hear him sing, you can hear many people in the crowd singing the words for him, I thought it was fantastic! Having only a few youtube videos posted with their new song and so many people already knowing the lyrics! I know they were shocked and so happy that they truly have amazing fans!
The show went on and as they are starting “There She Goes Again,” Nick runs over to everyone and tells them to stop playing the song, a fan has fainted, Steve dives into the crowd grabs her on stage and CJ grabs water for her, I’m not going to mention her name, but thank god she is okay. It must have given everyone chills up their spines to see how much the boys really do care about their fans, and how quick they responded and noticed what was going on. After making sure the fan was okay, the show went on.
The boys walked off stage but we knew it wasn’t over, they come back and played a few more songs, even singing “Cover Girl” again realizing that when they opened the show the mics weren’t working.
Steve, Derek, Nick and CJ always keeping their word, sitting at the meet and greet table for hours making sure to meet every fan on that line.
All in all the boys of Push Play did phenomenal and are definitely heading in the right direction and we know they are going to fulfill their dreams and we will be there every step of the way!
Thanks for reading!

Push Play tour launches after opening for Miley Cyrus concert at Foxwoods casino
September 29, 2008
Up-and-coming teen sensations Push Play are kicking off their debut headlining tour in style. Before launching their tour on October 4, the quartet is opening for tween queen Miley Cyrus during today’s performance at MGM Grand Theatre in Mashantucket, CT.
Following the supporting gig with Cyrus, the fresh-faced boys launch their Peace.Love.Push Play Tour with a party and concert at the School of Rock in South Hackensack, NJ, on October 4, and continue on the road through a December 6 performance at Reckson Plaza in Uniondale, NY. Along the way, the band has scheduled stops on October 19 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA, and November 23 at Abbey Pub in Chicago, IL.
According to the band’s MySpace profile, additional dates will be added for North Carolina, Virginia, Nebraska and Kentucky before the end of the year. Push Play will return to the road in 2009 for a winter/spring tour that will hit the West Coast.
Push Play are just the latest development in an industry that is increasingly driven by the demands of a younger generation. Recording artists like the Jonas Brothers and Cyrus (as well as her Disney-driven persona Hannah Montana) have dominated the charts in record sales and ticket sales. Young fans drove demand so high for Cyrus’s 2007 tour that the primary and secondary ticket markets came under fire when parents trying to accommodate their children’s desires were left empty-handed by quick ticket sell-outs.
However, the “tween” market can be fickle at times, too. Despite having a hit Disney Channel show of her own, former child star Raven-Symoné was forced to cancel her 55-city tour when ticket sales were disappointing.
The light rock quartet Push Play seems to be on the fast-track to success, though, recently signing deals with Creative Artist Agency and Cyrus’ manager, Jason Morey. The Long Island-based group could possibly follow in the footsteps of the very similar Jonas Brothers. With concentrated marketing and industry support, the Jonas Brothers shot up the record charts this year, simultaneously pioneering the way as one of the first big name acts to sign a concert deal with Live Nation.
Even before signing two big name deals, Push Play had already built a strong fan base and proven themselves in the industry. According to published reports, the boys performed to a sold-out crowd at the Fillmore at the historic Irving Plaza in New York, NY, last year. And after booking an April 26 gig at New York’s Nokia Theatre in Times Square, the boy band became the only unsigned act ever to perform at the venue.
Push Play touring in support of their 2007 debut album, “Deserted,” which placed on iTune’s top 100 charts during the first two weeks of its release. The record is comprised entirely of original material written by the four band mates, Baran (vocal), Steve Scarola (guitar), Nick DeTurris (bass), and Derek Ries (drums).
